Point House
COMPLETED 2020 | 7000 S.F.
Situated on a meadowed vantage point over the Salish Sea, the home captures views of the Gulf of Georgia and Mounta Baker through its undulating roofs formed through finely crafted curving wood rafters and decking. Large, open, arched spaces feature natural materials, structure, and superb craftsmanship to capture spectacular Gulf Island views. Great care was taken to shape the dynamic yet gentle form of the building. Sitting very naturally, conforming to the lines of the forested hill, the point, and the sea, it is always changing as one walks through and around the building.
